Sharing My Weight-loss Journey On YouTube

Hey guys, I hope everything is well and okay.
I have been going back and forth with this YouTube idea, I'm sure if you have been following the blog then you will know that every now and then I will create a
YouTube post and hope it goes okay.
However I have noticed that YouTube needs a bit more of consistency.

With that being said, I have decided to upload more frequently there.
I have not yet set up a schedule yet, but will keep you updated.

What is going to happen to the blog, nothing, now more than ever I will need to keep it
updated because product, events, Soweto related things will need to be shared on all my platforms.

Wish me luck.

NEW IN | JUSTINE TISSUE OIL GOLD

Soweto, South Africa
Hey guys, hope that all is well and okay.
Seems like I'm playing catch-up with a lot of posts these days on the blog.

Well today's post will be focusing on another tissue oil
from *Justine | Tissue Oil Gold the much more expensive version
of the normal Justine Tissue Oil.

I have added this to my tissue oil collection and will be trying it out also.
So here is the claim:
Fades dark spots in 28 days
Reduces the appearance of both new and old scars.
Improves skin clarity, firmness and even skin tone.

With all these claims I can't wait to try it.

How to use:
For new and old scars: Massage into affected area two or three times daily.
For even tone: Apply liberally over face and body every morning.
For sun protection: Apply liberally and evenly 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every hour
especially after swimming and towel drying.

I'm laughing because tissue oils are really becoming my thing.

NEW IN | BAOCARE TISSUE OIL

Soweto, South Africa
Hey guys, hope all has been well and okay.
The week has been going really slow, but I'm glad we made it to Friday.

Today I introduce to you a new brand on the blog and it is called BaoCare.
Who are they you ask, I have taken the following extract directly from the press-pack that I received from them so I don't mess up the wording:
Inspired by the abundant riches that come from the baobab, EcoProducts has created
BaoCare™, a100% pure and natural skin healing range using the rare baobab oil as its
foundational hero ingredient. Baobab oil is a rich amber-gold oil cold-pressed from the small
brown seeds found within the fruit pod of the baobab tree.

What drew me to this product?
Well because it's a tissue oil and you know me and tissue oils LOL, secondly it's because they also claim to tackle the issues that I'm dealing with which are extreme dryness and stretchmarks and thirdly the Baobab found in their ingredients is locally sourced
so why would I say no to that.

What's their claim:
BaoCare Tissue Oil rapidly absorbed, baobab oil is clinically proven to hydrate and moisturise.
Enriched with Vitamin E, this formulation is a nourishing oil for dry skin, scars and stretch marks.

How To Use:
Apply twice daily to affected areas.

How Much:
The 50ml bottle is R159.00 abd the 10ml is R40.00

Where Can You Get It:
All good independent health shops, Wellness Warehouse and online.
Faithful To Naturewww.faithful-to-nature.co.za
Baocare Online Shop: https://www.baocare.co.za/shop/

The BaoCare range is extensive and comes in 5 ranges.
BaoCare 100% Baobab Oil, Radience, Acne Skincare, Tissue Oil, Eczema Skincare.

With the rate I'm going with all the tissue oils I'm using I better be melanin popping this Summer!!!

REVIEW | AVON LUCK FOR HER

Soweto, South Africa
There is just something about a limited edition item I just can't help but get and the
Avon *LUCK for her is just one of them.

I'm really not sure when will the last day of production be,
but since it's a limited edition I'm sure it won't be in-stock for long.
I'm sure if you have been following or a fan of the LUCK range of perfumes then you will know that this packaging is very different from the previous
LUCK perfumes, I don't know I kinda prefer the old packaging with the golden-bow tie on the lid.

The AVON LUCK FOR HER 30ml Parfum Spray R250 is described as sweet with a sparkling citrus and fuscious berries blended with
creamy white florals and warm sandalwood.

I love sweet fragrances and if you also love them then this one is a must for your collection.

New In | Justine Perfecting Range

On my last Justine (must post) I touched base on how I used to only use the sunlight green soap for washing my face, but those days are gone.
I'm nolonger 19 years old and I'm now choosing to have a great skincare routine.

I feel like a proper skincare routine is always a process,
one day this product is great the next it is not.
Or once the problem of e.g. acne has been tackled then you go one to look for something that will clear the scaring, such a HEADACHE.
I have normal to dry skin and in Winter my skin gets extra dry and I'm always on a search for products that will give me moisture and tackle blemishes.

This post is really not a review, rather a product on trial that
I will be including in my skincare routine that
that will hopefully tackle my concerns.

I'm currently trying out products from Justine from their Perfecting Range that claim
to tackle an uneven skin tone.
I'm truly excited about is their Dark Spot Corrector because
it looks like it was made for my blemishes.

Justine Perfecting Gel Cleanser
Justine Perfecting Day Cream SPF25

A detailed post reviewing the products will be done at a later stage.

See you soon.

Mommy Monday | Baby Powders vs Baby Bum Creams

Soweto, South Africa
Aaah the old-age question, powders vs bum creams.
I have become so obsessed with everything that my baby touches and comes across, must be that motherly instinct they talk about.

Changing diapers also comes with being motherly, one advice I got from my sister was to make sure that the baby does not get any diaper rash, or ngizozwa (hell will break loose).
While changing her diaper the other day I was like, mmmh what's the difference between powder and cream, ooh boy! Google gave me asnswers alright.

I always gravitate towards the cream (mainly because I have big boobs and during summer the underboo area sometimes gets irritated used to use baby powder
but it was just not effective as a soothing cream, I know right one would think that powders are more effective than creams) with that TMI let's get back to the talk.

So back to creams and powders, for me I will always be a cream person but
I don't have a problem with powders.
Maybe at a later stage I will start using powders but for now bum creams win.

Some tips on bum creams.
Always apply on clean dry skin.
Apply in the whole nappy area.
Use after every nappy change (so as to avoid the nappy rash).

Everyone does this parenting thing very different to the next
and I hope that you enjoyed my talk, as I didn't want to include all
the speculations on powders vs creams because it can go on and on.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

See you soon.

June In Review

Soweto, South Africa
Winter is here and it is just getting colder and colder.
The fact that my maternity leave is also coming to an end later this month is also just killing me.
I just want to make the most of the two weeks that I still got at home you know, create some real good content for the blog, bond even more with my family and spend even more time with my baby.
Why can't I just win the Lotto and stay at home, lol.

June for the blog will hopefully be still filled with posts.
However I still keep on procrastinating starting that weightloss journey hey.
With only 5 months left till December I need to start losing weight because I wanna take cute pics at the beach this year you know.
Is that too much to ask for?!, to add on that stress my work clothes nolonger fit, I'm just a mess.

All I ask is,
June please be good to us.

Please stay tuned for more posts.

xx
