Ending 2016 Full of Gratitude

Zanele Mondi /// In Out & Around Soweto Blog
On Wednesday I was babbling and  today I continue to. I'm just so grateful for 2016 and all it's challenges and glory. I just want to thank you guys for taking time out of your busy schedules and heading over to my blog and reading whatever piece of information I might have for you that day.
Blogging has allowed me to share a piece of my shy self and I hope that in 2017 I continue to come out of that shelve while sharing my experiences.

I will leave it here and I will see you tomorrow where I close the
 Capturing December 2016 PhotoChallenge.

I share with you simple quotes from *Steve Maraboli, which just sum up my year beautifully.

“Dare to Be

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.

When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.

When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.

When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.

When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.

When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.

When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.

When times are tough, dare to be tougher.

When love hurts you, dare to love again.

When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.

When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.

When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.

When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.

When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.

When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.

Dare to be the best you can –

At all times, Dare to be!”

My Year | Beauty Blog Catch-up

WARNING!!!
This post is everywhere but I had fun typing it out, blogging sometimes is supposed to be imperfect because the imperfects make perfect or something like that!!!.

Wow when the year began I really didn't know that I would end up writing more than 150 posts*.

I nearly stopped there in July when things workwise/blog wise/personal relationships were just not happening. (Check July 2016 only one post produced). When you are at your lowest that's when you need to put in more energy because August was another great turning point for the blog and I couldn't be more happier with the frequency I produce now.

I always get the “when are you going to lose your .blogspot.com”  and my answer is all in good time. Ooh YouTube was another stumbling block for me this year!!! (I might re-visit that next year, crossing my fingers). The blog I can happily say that it is doing well "views and reach wise" Norway I see you!!!

I am grateful to every company that supported In Out & Around Soweto and all I can say is "the best is yet to come". MY dear readers/friends/family/Sowetans I would like to thank you for inspiring me this year and just being there with me through all the messed up posts, spelling mistakes, inconsistent posts you are the best, the best, the best.

Side note *Cassper Nyovest quotes are still one of the most searched quotes on the blog LOL, must really do something about that*

I am still yet to withdraw from my Adsense, waiting for that $100 dollar cheque LOL, anywho I'm not doing this for the money just paving the way for younger girls and boys In Out & Around Soweto who thought starting up a blog is impossible.

Speaking of young boys and girls the Thembelani Enkosini kids got brand new shoes last week, as Christmas presents all is well.

Let me leave the post here and stop babbling, will finish everything on Fridays posts.

xx

Manicure Monday | Best Friend TakeOver

My best friend of 8 years Khosi came all the way from Durban to spend Christmas with us in Soweto. I felt so blessed having her there with us after not seeing her for almost 2 years.
Good friends are hard to get these days and to have at least 1 or 2 that are close and loyal is just a blessing.

So last week I thought that I did my final Manicure Monday post and she said nope, took all my nail polishes and decided to paint a rainbow nation in her hands, and she said they are New Year’s Eve inspired nails *LOL*, what would a blog be without some funny experiences?

Anyway have fun this week and enjoy life.

Enjoy

New In | NIVEA Fresh Musk Deodorant

NIVEA Fresh Musk Deodorant
NIVEA /// Fresh Mush Deodorant Roll-on /// R19.99 for 50ml
NIVEA /// Fresh Musk Deodorant Spray /// R29.99 for 150ml
Hey guys!!! Now that it is officially summer and today is December the 16th and I don't know how you celebrate the public holiday of Reconciliation on your end but in Soweto it is nothing but braai's and chilling in parks and today I will be doing just that.

NIVEA has launched it's new fragrance which is just in time for summer and is called Fresh Musk Deodorant* and comes in a spray of aerosol and roll on. I am currently using the NIVEA double effect roll-on which also has 0% alcohol and great for sensitive underarms. The new deodorant has that and more and comes in a great musk smell but is not over-powering
which is all great for summer days.

If you are looking for great affordable summer deodorant, this one is for you.

xx

Happy Holiday!!!

Manicure Monday | Avon Christmas Edition

Happy Monday, goshhhh this year has gone by sooo fast pshuuuuuuuuuuu (LOL).
Since I have this gold theme going all over my Instagram - @zanelemondi and here on the blog now, I thought that I should also share my nailpolishes that are full of glitter and glittery things just make me happy.

Avon really brought out the big guns this festive with their nailwear pro+ line and I'm really impressed to the maxxxxxxx. These four gorgeous shades are part of their Advent Calender which I got last month but couldn't show case the nail polish swatches because I had a broken nail and had to wait for it to grow back.

If you have been following my blog forever then you would know that I do nail swatches on my natural nails because I feel like if it looks great on the natural side of things then for sure it will look even better on fleek'd nails.

So enough with the rambling enjoy the nail swatches and see you tomorrow!!!

xx

The nail polishes are available on this months Avon brochure SHOP : HERE
