NEW IN | WELCOME SAINT & SUMMER

Soweto, South Africa
SAINT&SUMMER Platform Sneaker

I'm a sucker for a good hand written note.. thanks guys.
Hey guys hope your morning is off to a great start today I have a different post for you.
I'm actually sharing a pair of shoes and a beautiful pair if I may add to that.

So last Friday I received a package from the Proudly South African site *SAINT&SUMMER
because this is the first time I'm sharing Saint&Summer like most other brands
I would like to share their story with you.

I have taken the below beautiful extract directly from their site
written by their founders Julia and Roxy:

"SAINT&SUMMER was created much in the same way it’s now run – captivated by our local surroundings and based on a friendship foundation 20 years deep. It was in 2013 during the humid heat that is Durban in December, we began piecing together the vision for our business.

Officially launching in 2014, SAINT&SUMMER has evolved into a local company that brings together what is most loved about South Africa with a modern twist. Founded on compassion and ethics we have combined our differing skill sets and focused them to realize our shared vision – To bring you perfectly styled, uniquely designed, quality footwear".

Autumn/Winter 2018
SAINT&SUMMER is all about comfortable shoes this season and I couldn't be more
happier,  the collections are as follows
Platform Sneaker
Platform Espadrille
Magnificent Mules
Lovely Loafers

Because this is a NEW IN post I will not go into a detailed review
regarding the shoes and the whole collection I will save that for a later review.

Happy shopping!!!

NEW IN | Avon True Foundation & Pearls

Soweto, South Africa
Happy Wednesday, hope that the week is going well, just one more day left till the long weekend, hope that all your Good Friday/Easter Weekend plans are going well
 and everything is mostly finalized.

Sooo last week I received this gorgeous pack from *Avon and I can't wait to share it in a review for you soon. If you have been following the blog then you will know that I absolutely love Avon products not only for the price but for how easily accessible they are.

I say this cause I think everyone knows someone who sells Avon products.

1. Cream to Powder - shade Spice - R124.90
I have used this in the past and absolutely loved how full coverage it is, and since winter is coming this foundation is perfect for the cold months.

2. Avon True Glow Bronzing Pearls - shade  Deep Bronze - R109.90
I have to say I was never a pearl kinda person for a while cause the one's that I used previously (shade Radiant Glow (range coming to an end) were never deep enough for me to work as a bronzer nor shimmery enough to actually bronze my skin (hope I make sense now).
I just never liked them.

3. Avon True Color Glimmer Sticks - Black Bioux - R69.90
The most pigmented easy to use pencils, and they are also affordable and easy to use hello, if you have never used any of Avon's pencils I most recommend that you give these one's a try.

Hope my NEW IN makes a bit of sense and in-depth reviews will be on your way.

See you soon

New In | Blonde Hair Who Dis?!

Soweto, South Africa
New Hair Who Dis?! LOL hey guys, hope you have been well and okay.
Being a new mother and blogging is just something else, I meaning I'm like typing right now and my baby has just decided to wake up--hold up please...., I'm back she just wanted to be turned.

So since I have natural hair (hold up she is waking up again I think, let me quickly attend to her will be back... LOL sometimes I feel like I should be vlogging this being a new parent isn't a joke).

So back to the hair.... as most of you know I have natural hair underneath my wig and it is growing sooo well my hair is a dream like all the hair is there. I plan on doing a natural hair series on the blog in future like do in-depth reviews and stuff as I have touched on my natural hair routines before but they were just a tip of the iceburg,
so make sure you are subscribed to the blog and YouTube channel.

The hair I have on is from StyleDiva which can be found at most malls around the country, the unit is called BrownSugar and it is a Lace Front Wig...This is the only wig I get from StyleDiva as the other I don't think are durable for daily use except for their Brazilians

The unit price is R1199.00 and I think it is worth the buy.

Let's give the wig 3 to 6 months and see how it does.

P.S. This week is NEW IN  week so will be sharing items that I bought or PR sent
so I can get on the swing of logging again.

Are you a wig person?

See you soon

Weekend Reading

Soweto, South Africa
"There is no such thing as a "broken family." Family is family, and is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, and adoption documents. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null is when those ties in the heart are cut. If you cut those ties, those people are not your family. If you make those ties, those people are your family. And if you hate those ties, those people will still be your family because whatever you hate will always be with you."

Have a safe week

See you soon

Guest Post | TESTING THE NEXT LEVEL WITH NIVEA

Soweto, South Africa
What Up guys, being the first boy ever to grace the In Out & Around Soweto Blog pages and I must say it is super awesome if I do say so myself.
Zanele my aunt asked me to review the new NIVEA MEN Body Deodorizer since I have a very active lifestyle, and by active I mean I have hundreds of boy things to do during the day and night and I need to keep cool and smell great.
I like to smell great no matter what time of the day it is and which boy does not like that.
So I received four sprays from MANBOX with the following scents
 (INTENSE, ENERGY, COOL KICK, SPRINT).
I will talk about the price first and for me R44.99 is reasonable as I'm still a student and I'm not trying to break the bank just to smell great, however I do appreciate something that is affordable yet long lasting, which is what the spray does.

My favorite out of the two are Sprint and Cool Kick which are almost finished because when I apply the spray I apply it, but I do like that the sprays last the whole day
and there is no need for re-application.
I hope that you get the gist off my review and you go out and get them
because they are a true value for money.

Till next time (hopefully).

Peace

3 Top Tips on Applying A Concealer

Soweto, South Africa
Hey guys, hope all is well and okay, today I thought that I should do a post all about concealers and share some tips with you.... Should you want me to do reviews on the pictured concealers please let me know cause the NYX concealer has been calling for a review but I haven't been feeling like sharing it cause I have been struggling with using it.

I did this post back in 2015 and I'm like let me share an updated post.

**Apply foundation and then concealer**
I prefer applying a foundation first then a concealer as this not only helps covering the dark circles underneath my eye area but it also helps with keeping my under eye area bright.
***Update you can also use a color correct before foundation which will elevate your make-up into a new level

**Do not just dab the concealer beneath your eyes, instead draw a triangle**
While most of us just apply a tiny coat directly underneath the eye area, the way that I do it is to draw to a triangle with the base *or some sort*.  The triangle method effortlessly camouflages my under eye dark circles and gives me that brightness that I need.
**Update this not only makes your concealer look seamless but makes your face look a few pounds lighter.

**Prime your eyelids with concealer to prevent eye shadow bleeding**
I don't need to explain this the heading speaks for itself.
**Other than spending a whole lot of money on eyelid primers rather make use of this step and thank me later.

Hope that your day goes well and use that concealer.

The Week Ahead

Soweto, South Africa
Happy Monday, hope that your week is off to a great start and like I said on Twitter this morning, ngicela sibange tuu (meaning let's just work hard).

My laptop is dying a slow death guys, the charging port is nolonger working and the cooling mechanism ooh fan thingy just decided to die this weekend, making things difficult as I will need to type fast before it decides to cooling and shut down.

Because the laptop has decided to take a short left posts will also take a short left meaning that they won't be that in-detail, so my first FOTD post might go up this week, a foundation review and a super exciting guest post is also coming.

On my nails I have the shade Cardshark from the Revlon Colorstay Range.

Have a productive week and see you soon.

NEW IN | Yardley Raincoat Mascara

Soweto, South Africa
Hey guys, so I received this pr package from Yardley and I'm like mmmh RainCoat Mascara,
then I opened it and it had a clear consistency and I'm like hold-up let me check the packaging again .
So I read it and the following is mentioned on the mascara bottle...
"invisible, water resistant, top coat, sets and shapes, lashes and brows"
mmmh again, this is my type of product and let me tell you why!

How many mascaras do you have that apply so well and yet are never waterproof or claim to be waterproof then two minutes later your eyes look like a panda...

I applied the Yardley Raincoat Mascara along side the Yardley High Definition Mascara pictured below (because it's great however it is not waterproof)... so the instructions are pretty simple apply your fav mascara wait for it to dry then apply the Raincoat Mascara.

What I like about the Yardley Raincoat Mascara is that it did not pull any product and the wand came out clean, as some top coats tend to blend with the product and make it runny before it sets
(hope my observation makes sense)
The instructions are as follows for the Yardley Raincoat Mascara:

1. Apply your favorite mascara and leave to dry.
2. Apply Yardley Raincoat Mascara to lock in the water-resistant all day wear.
3. Also ideal to set and shape brows

Overall based on my first impressions of the Yardley Raincoat Mascara I'm very excited for this product as it just saved all my mascaras and can't wait to show you how it looks like on the brow on future tutorials to come.

Yardley Raincoat Mascara retail - R99.95

Available at selected Clicks, Dis-Chem, Edgars, Foschini & Leading pharmacies nationwide

Autumn 2018 Preview

Soweto, South Africa
Hey guys, hope everything is well and okay, this post is mainly to share some of the stuff that will be happening this month on the blog and YouTube channel,

The month will be off to a slow start as I will be settling into motherhood and I have decided to give the new blog contributors a week off aswell because there won't be much work for them to do, and there is only one event that I will be attending to personally during the week of the 5th.

Most YouTube posts will start going live from the 12th of March when we all return to full-time blogging, things are about to get extremely exciting on the blog.

Ooooh the flowers on the main pic! don't they look good, they are my push prezzie (",) and I love them, who ever said push prezzies need to be expensive does not know the true
 meaning behind a prezzie.

Back to the blog, there will most definitely be Autumn beauty tutorials, hauls, favorites, plenty of reviews, events the main focus being most definitely Soweto.

Please do follow us on our social pages for daily updates:

See you soon
