New In | Yardley
Hey guyzies, hopefully your Friday is off to a great start.
I bought this foundation a while back and I have been meaning to use it but
I already have a lot of foundations open and this year I'm doing project pan so
I have to at least finish two bottles before opening this one.
The claim:
- For flawless matte finish
- No transfer
- Lightweight feel
- with vitamin e and amino acids to moisturise and hydrate.
- The foundation is water based
I like the claims and the shade range is not bad either, so
keep an eye out for an in-depth review on our YouTube page.
See you soon.

Hey guyzies, hopefully you are doing great today.
Recently Yardley South Africa collaborated with Bonnie Mbuli (see post here) to create
a shade for their Even Complexion Foundation and the Stayfast foundation.
This got me thinking about the whole foundation (Even Complexsion Foundation), so let us see
what the foundation has in-store for us.
The claim:
Yardley says the following regarding the foundation, contains porcelain flower extract
and synerlight for a moisturising, complex perfecting foundation.
Contains SPF20 to help protect against the harmful and ageing effects
of UV rays.
Yardley says that the foundation
and synerlight for a moisturising, complex perfecting foundation.
Contains SPF20 to help protect against the harmful and ageing effects
of UV rays.
Yardley says that the foundation
has a medium coverage and is dermatologically approved.
The product:
Comes in a glass container that is transparent and has a pump, happy with the
packaging because it shows that the brand is serious with the product.
Side note: Drugstore game has really come up, I see alot of
brands coming out with make-up that has pumps and this makes me happy
because it shows that as consumers
because it shows that as consumers
our voices have been heard.
Everything regarding the packaging is super nice and when it comes to the Limited Bonnie Edition
the blush pink B in the bottle is really extra special.
My Thoughts:
Liquid foundations make me happy and this one does not disappoint at all.
The coverage is medium and build-able to a full coverage in my opinion.
Side note: I really missed writing out reviews like this and the way I planned it
this week is that I just review foundations and typing out the reviews
is really decreasing my anxiety (",).
is really decreasing my anxiety (",).
The foundation comes in 8 shades, 9 with the Melanin shade
and the prices is also worth it because of the
and the prices is also worth it because of the
coverage it gives, this foundation has a natural finish so setting the foundation is really necessary
as it will make it last so I suggest the Yardley Even Complexion Pressed Powder.
My Verdict:
If you like a liquid foundation that does not feel heavy to the face
but gives your full coverage, then I suggest that you give this foundation a try.
See you soon.

On today's post I teamed up with my sister for a
first impression/review of the YardleyxBonnie collaboration.
I get excited when brands collaborate with local melanin queens
because I know that the products are made with us SA beauty

most sought after celebrity to create a range that’s made to express your uniqueness.

Bonnie states, “When this opportunity to collaborate with Yardley came about,

MY THOUGHTS
Adding that Melanin shade
to the Even Complexion and Stayfast foundations because
an expanding shade range to my firm favourites is always great.
The collection could have maybe included an eyeshadow palette? maybe that
would be in round 2 who know (".), Overall I'm happy with the collection
and congratulations once again Bonnie this range is awesome.

*press pack kindly submitted by Yardley SA
Hey guys, so I received this pr package from Yardley and I'm like mmmh RainCoat Mascara,
then I opened it and it had a clear consistency and I'm like hold-up let me check the packaging again .
So I read it and the following is mentioned on the mascara bottle...
"invisible, water resistant, top coat, sets and shapes, lashes and brows"
mmmh again, this is my type of product and let me tell you why!
How many mascaras do you have that apply so well and yet are never waterproof or claim to be waterproof then two minutes later your eyes look like a panda...
I applied the Yardley Raincoat Mascara along side the Yardley High Definition Mascara pictured below (because it's great however it is not waterproof)... so the instructions are pretty simple apply your fav mascara wait for it to dry then apply the Raincoat Mascara.
What I like about the Yardley Raincoat Mascara is that it did not pull any product and the wand came out clean, as some top coats tend to blend with the product and make it runny before it sets
(hope my observation makes sense)
The instructions are as follows for the Yardley Raincoat Mascara:1. Apply your favorite mascara and leave to dry.
2. Apply Yardley Raincoat Mascara to lock in the water-resistant all day wear.
3. Also ideal to set and shape brows
Overall based on my first impressions of the Yardley Raincoat Mascara I'm very excited for this product as it just saved all my mascaras and can't wait to show you how it looks like on the brow on future tutorials to come.
Yardley Raincoat Mascara retail - R99.95
Available at selected Clicks, Dis-Chem, Edgars, Foschini & Leading pharmacies nationwide

Review | Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Metallic Lip Vinyl
![]() |
| Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Metallic Lip Vinyl (Top to Bottom - Coppering, Chrome Pink, Queen B, Reign) |
Hey guys, hope that you are having a great Thursday and the taxi strike didn't affect you as much as it did me (atleast I got a chance to blog). So here is the thing this post was supposed to go live last week the same time I shared my first impressions of the new Yardley Stayfast Matte Metallic Lippies on YouTube but rather late than never.
I received the lippies a few weeks back and just wanted to do something different with them hence the YouTube video first then blog review after:
Lets jump straight into the review:
P.S. the review will be focusing on the 4 new metallic shades (pictured above).
Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Metallic Lip Vinyl
(Top to bottom Miss Mauve, Rambling Rose, Killer Pink,
(Top to bottom Miss Mauve, Rambling Rose, Killer Pink,
Electric Tangerine, Engine Red, Femme Fatale)
The claim: Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Lip Vinyl in 4 NEW lustrous metallic shades. All the benefits of our coveted Stayfast Liquid Matte Lip Vinyl – high impact colour, 24 hour wear and an ultra-matte finish; now comes with a glittery, jewel like finish. Merging the staying power of a matte lipstick with the high wattage shine of a metallic!
Available in 4 shades: Reign, Queen B, Coppering and Chrome Pink
The product:
The lippies come in the same pack as the already existing matte shades, if it wasn't for the sticker on top it would be a bit difficult to tell the metallic to the mattes... However the metallic shades are pretty visible also because the bottle is transparent and all you see are shimmers withing the lip product... so I ain't complaining that much.
My experience.
I was very skeptical with this matte mettalic trend I don't want to lie. Fistly I thought too much shimmer, the glitter within the lipsticks will be messy and just cause a disco around your mouth area... but Nope I was proven wrong which I like as the shimmers/metallic parts are saved by the matte part of the lippie (hope I make sense here)
Another thing is I thought that when I do apply them on the lips they would feel heavy and won't dry out... I was proven wrong also here, the metallic lippies are one application you are happy, quick to dry and don't feel heavy on the lips.
My Verdict:
Everyone is releasing metallic shades these days and I must say Yardley did a great on this one. The Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Metallic Lip Vinyl are super affordable, lite on the lips and super quick to dry-out.
I would suggest you get all the colours but if I had to choose I would get Coppering and Reign

Hope you enjoyed my review.

Hey guys, hope your day is going good and
September is treating you well so far. I just
thought that I should share with you some wonderful fragrances from Yardley
that I have been testing out this past few months. In the post below I am sharing my
favorite fragrances.
First a bit of THANKS …. *Yardley sent me this gorgeous pack
and the beautiful note really made my month, please take a LOOK at it…. (“,) I
love it when companies take their time out to write out such great messages,
I really do appreciate it.
This one has been tested by my boyfriend because the Yardley London Bond Street Eau De Parfum Pour Homme (Pour Homme meaning For Him), which is 50ml and retails for R330. Yardley says "brings you the sophistication and confidence of the female version with a distinctly male scent. This aromatic fragrances fuses together powdery notes with bold woods and vanilla".
I always thought vanilla scents were for woman however I was wrong because although the fragrance does contain vanilla the woody scents give that manly scent.
mmmmh

This packaging is just everything guys, I love it. Rose gold the colour of this season and more seasons to come and Yardley did an awesome job on this one. Yardley Bond Street 50ml retails for R375. The Bond Street is made up of alot of different scents such as orange blossom, jasmine, patchouli solar, honey cedar and woody notes,
and honey they all of which create a memorable scent that lingers.
On your next shopping trip pop by the Yardley stand and test this perfume out,
this one you will love.

My very first encounter with Yardley fragrances was with the
Gorgeous Range (the one with the purple accents) and if you love that range then this one is a
bit of a step up from the previous one as it more sophisticated.
Have you tried any Yardley fragrances before and which one do you prefer?
Till tomorrow
xx
