Colors by Foschini Eyeshadow Review

Yesterday on social I shared swatches of the Colors by Foschini Eyeshadow Palette, I must say I was pretty impressed. I bought the eyeshadows sometime back in January and swatched the nude ones and wasn't that happy... let me do a quickly review for you and then you will make up your mind on it.

The claim:
I don't see it on the Foschini website and there is no claim also anywhere but I will just stick with the general eyeshadow rule, which is probably great pigmentation, longevity and minimal fallout.

The product:
The eyeshadows come with six matte shades and six shimmery shades. They retail from R39.99

My experience
Bought the eyeshadows to expand my eyeshadow collection back in January, swatch’d the matte shades and I was not happy with the swatches and I threw the shadows away(to the back of the my drawer), I was looking for a reddish-brown shimmery shade two weeks back and boom this palette had it and I swatched it once with hopes that it would pick up and booom the shade came through nicely. The matte shades I'm not happy with but the shimmery ones omg somgaga I'm sold.

So if you are looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette with great pigmentation and good staying power.Get this palette

P.S. You can also get this palette with the shimmery shades only, which is great news.

Review | Revlon Pink Happiness First Love

Revlon Pink Happiness First Love EDT 50ml (R249)
A girl is always pretty in pink and the *Revlon Pink Happiness First Love EDT 50ml (R249) just puts the cherry on top of that cake. The perfume is said to have been inspired by a summer in the French country side, where one cycles through the orchards and picking
cherries (how romantic is that).
The scent is really lightweight which is perfect for summer as people usually don't like to wear scents that are heavier side (as you can tell by the bottle that I have been using it quite frequently). The notes that you will get from the perfume consists of tart cherries, juicy apples and creamy coconut (just thought that I should add this for those that are fragrance specific).
The question is why do I love it so much, well the answer is pretty simple it is pink and pink brings me happiness. This fragrance fun and whimsical and women from the ages of 20 and up will enjoy it and love it because of that youthful vibrance it gives,

Beauty | Garnier Hydra Match Revitalising Fresh Gel Dull And Tired Skin Review

Hey guys, hope that you are all well and okay. Today I will be reviewing for you the Garnier Hydra Match Revitalising Fresh Gel Dull And Tired Skin, I bought the face moisturiser in May at Clicks for R50.00 but the retail price is R64.00 and I only began using it July.  The lotion has a gel like consistency and when I use it only requires a small amount (about a pea size). The Hydra Match smells great just like the gel wash in its range (see review here).  The only thing that I don’t like with the product is that it does not have any SPF and I need to apply something with SPF with it.

People with dry skin might know this feeling, you know that feeling just after you have washed your face and your skin has shrivelled when I apply the Hydra Match my skin goes back to normal and the gel in the product helps in this instance with the application. Over all it is a good product but if it came with SPF then it would be great.

August Favorites | Wishlist Came True

Soweto, South Africa

Good day great people. Hope that Spring has sprung and all is in your liking. In August I tried a new thing "shopping online" and I must say I enjoyed every minute of it, a few click over here and a few clicks over there and done. I must say after the experience that I had with the companies that I dealt with I will be shopping online more frequently.

I bought a few things via the company takealot.com and Groupon The stuff that I bought was stuff that I needed, tell me who does not need a coral, green and a clear nail polish for Spring plus the delivery was free a girl couldn't have been more happier.
Tell me guys have you ever bought anything online and how was your experience?

P.S. Takealot and Groupon did not delivery the flowers, they are just in the pictures to add a bit of ambiance.
