Quotes For Coping
The type of week I had deserves these quotes*.
xx
Zanele
“Sometimes I just think depression's one way of coping with the world. Like, some people get drunk, some people do drugs, some people get depressed. Because there's so much stuff out there that you have to do something to deal with it.”
― Ned Vizzini,
“It's funny: I always imagined when I was a kid that adults had some kind of inner toolbox full of shiny tools: the saw of discernment, the hammer of wisdom, the sandpaper of patience. But then when I grew up I found that life handed you these rusty bent old tools - friendships, prayer, conscience, honesty - and said 'do the best you can with these, they will have to do'. And mostly, against all odds, they do.”
― Anne Lamott, Traveling Mercies: Some Thoughts on Faith
“When a hurricane damaged my father's house, my brother rushed over with a gas grill, three coolers of beer, and an enormous Fuck-It Bucket - a plastic pail filled with jawbreakers and bite-size candy bars. ("When shit brings you down, just say 'fuck it,' and eat yourself some motherfucking candy.")”
― David Sedaris
“You never really know what's coming. A small wave, or maybe a big one. All you can really do is hope that when it comes, you can surf over it, instead of drown in its monstrosity.”
― Alysha Speer
“I guess in the end, it doesn’t matter what we wanted. What matters is what we chose to do with the things we had.”
― Mira Grant, Deadline
“Humor can make a serious difference. In the workplace, at home, in all areas of life – looking for a reason to laugh is necessary. A sense of humor helps us to get through the dull times, cope with the difficult times, enjoy the good times and manage the scary times.”
― Steve Goodier
“The mind knows the truth when your heart denies what it feels. When you don't feel safe to let people in it is because you're not ready to deal with the pain of honesty.”
― Shannon L. Alder

New In | The R100 Makeup Brush Set
It's Friday and we made it.
Not to take up too much time again I just thought that I should finally share the Stylish 10 Pcs Fiber Powder Brush Eyeshadow Brush Face Eye Makeup Brushes Set* that I got from the site GAMISS for the amazing price of only $6.66 which is around R94 - R96 South African Rands.
I have done a full review of the site GAMISS which you can read over HERE
I have been using the brushes for over two - three weeks now and I'm loving the quality, hopefully I will create a YouTube video soon showing you how they actually work.
So if you are looking for an affordable makeup brush set, this one is for you.

NEW IN | KANGOL Eyeshadow Palette
Just to keep the "NEW IN" momentum going I thought that I should share the Kangol Eyeshadow Palette. I really wanted to wait till I have all 3 but Truworths Sandton seems to be not stocking them and I have been waiting for more 3 weeks sooooooo I'm sharing the Metal Palette today.
The palette seems to be swatching great I have no complaints yet. I shared yesterday that the whole of next week I will be sharing my FOTD using all "NEW IN" products. Ooh I also bought the nail polishes which obviously I will be sharing on coming Manicure Monday posts.
Do have a great day.
Till tomorrow
Xx
