MY WEEK IN QUOTES
Hope you well, this week has gone by soo fast.
I love sharing quotes, because they just give that aahaa moment every now and then.
Other than sharing the obvious weekend reading, I thought that
I should share the quotes in a picture format, since my Instagram is filled with them,
I'm also thinking of making them a weekly feature, but time will tell.
Hope your Sunday goes well and will see you
on Twitter because you know it goes down on Sundays.
See you soon

Weekend Reading
“A busy, vibrant, goal-oriented woman is so much more attractive than a woman who waits around for a man to validate her existence.”

Manicure Monday – Dealing With Grief Quotes

| Manicure Monday – Dealing With Grief Quotes |
Ooh gosh, I don’t know how to start this but here I go….
Someone really close to me lost someone they love. Having dealt with such in a lot of occasions these past couple of years!!! I thought that I should share some of the quotes that helped me.
“Without you in my arms, I feel an emptiness in my soul. I find myself searching the crowds for your face - I know it's an impossibility, but I cannot help myself.”
― Nicholas Sparks, Message In A Bottle
“They say time heals all wounds, but that presumes the source of the grief is finite”
― Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Prince
“It sucks that we miss people like that. You think you've accepted that someone is out of your life, that you've grieved and it's over, and then bam. One little thing, and you feel like you've lost that person all over again.”
― Rachel Hawkins, Demonglass
“You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.”
― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
“Grief can destroy you --or focus you. You can decide a relationship was all for nothing if it had to end in death, and you alone. OR you can realize that every moment of it had more meaning than you dared to recognize at the time, so much meaning it scared you, so you just lived, just took for granted the love and laughter of each day, and didn't allow yourself to consider the sacredness of it. But when it's over and you're alone, you begin to see that it wasn't just a movie and a dinner together, not just watching sunsets together, not just scrubbing a floor or washing dishes together or worrying over a high electric bill. It was everything, it was the why of life, every event and precious moment of it. The answer to the mystery of existence is the love you shared sometimes so imperfectly, and when the loss wakes you to the deeper beauty of it, to the sanctity of it, you can't get off your knees for a long time, you're driven to your knees not by the weight of the loss but by gratitude for what preceded the loss. And the ache is always there, but one day not the emptiness, because to nurture the emptiness, to take solace in it, is to disrespect the gift of life.”

July In Review
I thought
that I should do a post were I sum-up my July because I only did one post, like
really what kind of blogger am I?
July began
in a very great note I was offered a chance to interview for a good position
and guess what I got the job, so I have been familiarizing myself with a new
job, new people and so far I’m enjoying it. The number of posts had to go down
as my 8-5pm take first preference.
My internet
connection also was not that great which also killed my mojo when it came to
posts, as I prefer to write my posts on the day off and not in advance, but I
think I will be implementing the advance post method as a lot of blogger are
thriving on it.
I also got
to attend two events as a blogger in July and I have posted about them on my
Instagram @zanelemondi and I must say *honored*, I will posting some pictures from
both events aswell as sharing the messages that I got from them.
I posted a
picture on Instagram were I promised a giveaway and I will be doing it
hopefully by the end of next week. I’m sorry to keep you guys waiting but it
will be worth it as it will be opened for the following countries (South
Africa, Botswana and Namibia).
August is
my grans birthday month and I cannot wait to spend the day with her.
I hope your
July was also filled with excitement and new things.

Update | Why No Posts
Wow I must say, it has been a long time since my last post. I do
apologise for that though, it is just that I have been so sick (winter 2016 is
killing me). I have also been sorting out things on my JOB front being a
20something year old from a previously disadvantage background is tough (talk about being pc), you have to fight for everything. #thestruggleisreal
I wanted to do an update post on my life but frankly my life is boring
there is nothing to share (honestly nothing!!!). If you are mostly following me
on Instagram then you would have seen a bit of me here and there.
Things are now back to
normal.New Posts up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, although I do choose to
blog daily.
Have a happy and blessed Monday,
please don’t forget to #hustlehard

January Motivational Quotes
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
― Frank Herbert, Dune
“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.”
― Steve Maraboli, Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience
“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.”
― Helen Keller
“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them.”
― George Bernard Shaw, Mrs. Warren's Profession
“You have to accept whatever comes, and the only important thing is that you meet it with the best you have to give.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
“Never respond to an angry person with a fiery comeback, even if he deserves it...Don't allow his anger to become your anger.”
― Bohdi Sanders, Warrior Wisdom: Ageless Wisdom for the Modern Warrior
“Keep in mind that the true measure of an individual is how he treats a person who can do him absolutely no good.”
― Ann Landers
“As long as I am breathing, in my eyes, I am just beginning.”
― Criss Jami, Killosophy
All the above quotes were taken from Goodreads.com

2016 Goals
Congratulations!!! We have made it to 2016 and to be honest
with you 2015 was not the greatest year for me. Most of the things that I tried
to do didn’t flourish to my standards and the stabations (knives I had received
behind my back LORRRRD I tell you “story for another day”). I’m glad I got
through those experiences and I learned a lot from them trust me.
2016 is here and this year I’m planning to do a lot of
things differently starting with the consistency of my posts and all. I thought
that I should make a list of things that I would like to achieve this year
because what blogger would I be if I didn’t share such things.
1 Growing my blog (2015 was great for my blog as I found my niche and I would
like to extend more on that this year
and not forgeting the inspirational quotes that I love to share.
2.
Continue improving my content (I’m all about
quality and less on quantity because what good is it for me to post daily with
ugly pictures and a post with less quality content).
3.
Make time for my friends and family (lets us be
honest here we see our family everyday and we “catch up” with our friends via
social media but we are always busy with “things”).
4.
Start my weight loss journey ( In the year 2015
I gained a lot of weight, it had a lot to do with my personal challenges and
very late last year I began to start breathing again).
5.
I would also love to travel more( last year I
travelled but not as much as I would have loved to so this is the year).
Hopefully my list has inspired you to create your own.
Although I may not know what 2016 has in store for us I pray that only good
things triumph.
Cheers to 2016
