Today I bring to you all things *ALMAY in their foundation ranges.
If you have been following the blog you would know that I like me some Almay products
because of that Hypoallergenic and fragrance free factor, for my overly sensitive skin and eyes.
Below I tell you the claims and hopefully you get to try
out 1 or 2 with me.

Almay says the foundation is perfect for acne-prone, oily, and combination skin.

The claim: Lightweight, creamy foundation makes skin look flawless with
a natural finish and all the hydration of a moisturizer - plus SPF40
Almay also says the foundation is build-able with a natural finish.

The claim: Formulated to address uneven skin tone,
skin blemishes and age marks.

Almay First Impressions | Yay or Nay
Hey guys welcome back to the blog.
Today I have another great upload for you, I test out the newly re-branded Almay.
The video was filmed 1st week September however I never got around to posting it.
This weekend I had an option to re-film my first impressions, however I just wanted
the first one to be as is (I hope you like that).

My Experience:
At first I don't want to lie, I was a bit skeptical Almay products haven't been that
exciting the only product I gravitate towards is their eyeshadow trio set which I have been using for the longest time.
I really like the new look and theme #RevealTheTrueYou
"Hypoallergenic. Fragrance free. Sensitive. Our products are designed with all skin types in mind".
Speaking to skin types the issue of shade ranges was raised and Almay says:
"We’re going wide. In the next few years, we’re looking to expand shades, embrace change and empower self-expression in every stroke".
I'm happy that they have acknowledged that they are lacking in the shade range of things.
My Verdict:
If you are looking for make-up that is Hypoallergenic and have sensitive eyes like mine,
you will love this range.
I would love to do a breakdown of all products in a later stage in forms of a review, but for now
enjoy my first impressions.

Review | Almay Truly Lasting Foundation
What would Fridays be without a #foundationfriday post and
to think that this is my first foundation review for the year it is truly
unfair to me and you. The weather in Johannesburg also known as Joburg is still
cloudy and drizzly. How is your Friday going?
Today I bring to you a foundation review that I wanted to do
for a while, but I had a love/hate relationship with the foundation because
some days it will apply good and others not so well; plus I like to really test
out products before reviewing them.
Let’s get down to business.
*Almay says that skincare meets makeup, oil-free formula
offers up to 16 hours of smudge-free, flawless coverage no matter what the
weather plus the foundation won’t clog pores.
My experience: I must say that I love bottles that have
pumps and that always play a huge role when it comes to my buying
decisions*true story*.
When I apply the foundation I make sure that I
use a foundation brush as it has a slight matte finish texture hence “oil-free
formula” plus when you have dry skin like me make sure that you moisturise
properly plus wear a primer that will not dry you out.

The foundation applies smoothly, it is buildable you can
achieve a great medium coverage and a good full coverage. I found myself
reaching for it more this summer as my dry skin tends to be more forgiving
during these periods, and we will need to see how well it does in Winer.
