Soweto, South Africa
Hi guy's hope everything is going well today.
On today's blog post I will be doing Forgotten Cookies which are

1. In a greasy free bowl whisk together the egg whites and
salt until you have a soft peek.
2.Whisk in the sugar a little a time until it's thick and glossy
3.By hand fold in vinegar vinegar then add the chocolate chips,
and most of the pistachios and gently fold.
4. With a spoon drop the mixture into a large baking sheet,
and sprinkle the remaining pistachios.
4. Put the cookies into the oven and turn off,
let it set overnight and NO peeking.
Additional Information
‐You can always throw in whatever you like
and build them to your own taste.

Motivation Monday | The Will To Win Poem by Berton Braley | Blogmas Day 7
I discovered this poem last week and since then
it really stuck with me.
Hope it gives you more understanding of this thing called WILL
If you want a thing bad enough
To go out and fight for it,
Work day and night for it,
Give up your time and your peace and
your sleep for it
If only desire of it
Makes you quite mad enough
Never to tire of it,
Makes you hold all other things tawdry
and cheap for it
If life seems all empty and useless without it
And all that you scheme and you dream is about it,
If gladly you'll sweat for it,
Fret for it, Plan for it,
Lose all your terror of God or man for it,
If you'll simply go after that thing that you want.
With all your capacity,
Strength and sagacity,
Faith, hope and confidence, stern pertinacity,
If neither cold poverty, famished and gaunt,
Nor sickness nor pain
Of body or brain
Can turn you away from the thing that you want,
If dogged and grim you besiege and beset it,
You'll get it!
- Berton Braley

Dried Chickpeas And Couscous Salad |
Hey guy, hope all is well.
It's been a while since I posted
(Is it me or sharing food posts during the peak rona period was
just something else),
2020 has been a very hectic but no worries I'm back.
On today's blog post I will be doing a Chickpea and Couscous Salad.
What I love about this salad is that you can
have it hot or cold and even substitute the ingredients with your own favorites.
I like to also add some add some
seasonal fruits and vegetables (really whatever you like mostly goes here).
In addition you can add some nuts and seeds to give it that nutty and crunchy texture,
you can have it as a salad or a side dish and it is really nutritious.
The Dried Chickpeas And Couscous Salad
-Couscous
-Chickpeas
-Tomatoes
-Cucumber
-Red onion
-Cranberries
-Lemon
-Feta
-Pistachios
-Italian Parsley
-Salt and Pepper
For The Dressing
-Apple Cider Vinegar
-Grape Seed Oil
-Lemon
-Dry Mint or Fresh Mint
-Chopped Garlic and Ginger
-Salt and Pepper
(Let it sit for 2 hrs or overnight for the dry mint to soak in).
Happy Festive Season!!!
See you soon.

MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY FULL COVERAGE UNDER-EYE CONCEALER REVIEW ON DRY SKIN | BLOGMAS DAY 4
Soweto, South Africa
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY FULL COVERAGE UNDER-EYE CONCEALER REVIEW ON DRY SKIN shade TAN45 |
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY FULL COVERAGE UNDER-EYE CONCEALER BLEND-ABILITY? |
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY FULL COVERAGE UNDER-EYE CONCEALER REVIEW ON DRY SKIN - WITHOUT POWDER |
MAYBELLINE SUPER STAY FULL COVERAGE UNDER-EYE CONCEALER REVIEW ON DRY SKIN - WITH SETTING POWDER |
I bought the Maybelline Super Stay Concealer shade TAN a while back and haven't been
using it because I thought it was too light
and just would not blend, I don't know what got me thinking about that
because the SuperStay Foundation is one of the best foundations, I've tried in a while.
I jumped into the concealer because I was getting tied of the Revlon Candid
shade 070 and the L.A. Girl Concealer shade Fawn and wanted to
try something else and the results were...
Claims:
No matter what’s on your agenda, look to Super Stay® Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer to transform the look of your tired eyes.
This full-coverage, yet lightweight concealer features a precise paddle applicator that effortlessly glides
the formula onto the skin for a smooth, seamless finish.
Our under eye concealer is waterproof, transfer and smudge resistant, and lasts for up to 24 hours.
How to use/apply:
Step 1. Using the applicator apply the desired amount under your eyes.
Step 2. Blend with fingers.
My Thoughts:
Because I have a really super sensitive under eye area lately
I've been using really minimal products around that area.
The concealer appears to be really thick and bright at first sight.
On application it is really thick and creamy and when I say a little goes a long
and can tell that I will be using this concealer for the next six months.
On most days I use a concealer to cover up and brighten my under eye
circles, I thought that I could get away with not adding powder
but this concealer needs powder as it creases, not a lot just enough
for it to set and be good which is great.
Would I buy this concealer again? Yes
Do I recommend it yes, for everyday use and heavy glam looks
because it blends well in the eyes and is non drying.

Hope you enjoyed this format of a review.
Will see you soon.

This year has just gone by really quickly or slowly depending on who's answering
but one thing we know for sure is that it was out of this world so
the second week of November I had to take out the Christmas Tree and set it up
because you know for the "happiness" it hopefully brings.
We bought the Christmas tree 2013 December in what would be our mothers last Christmas with us
and you know other than crying this time, I'm just glad the tree is still good
and bringing us joy now with my daughter.
Wow I just described a (circle of life) moment.
Christmas is a time for family laughter and joy, so this year I'm planning
to be selfish and give myself that.

KFC goes 50/50 with Mzansi to celebrate 50 years in South Africa | BLOGMAS DAY 2
Next year, KFC will celebrate 50 years of sharing its famous Original Recipe™
with Mzansi. Since 1971, the popular chicken brand has served up millions of meals around the country and has,
over five decades, cemented itself as one of South Africa’s most loved brands.
A brand that is not only known for its high-quality standards,
but for also offering its customers delicious
tasting meals at great prices - making it affordable for all South Africans
to enjoy the goodness of KFC.
A crazy year deserves a crazy celebration and so to honour almost 50 years in the country,
KFC is going big by going halvies with South Africa this December.
Marketing Director at KFC South Africa, Suhayl Limbada said,
“Celebrating 50 years in South Africa with local fans is a big deal for us and so
we’re going big the only way we know how – by sharing it with Mzansi.”
To celebrate into their 50th anniversary year, for the first time ever KFC
also went 50/50 with talented local illustrator,
Russell Abrahams (AKA Yay Abe) to design a unique collection of limited-edition Birthday Buckets.
Inspired by KFC’s heritage and the culture of Mzansi, Yay Abe added his bold,
bright and playful illustration style to the iconic KFC buckets - which always brings people together - to create a range of collectable buckets
that will hopefully bring a little more colour and a lot more flare to festive tables this December.
HOW THE #LETSGO5050 PROMOTION WORKS:
KFC is offering customers 50% off selected products every day from the
1st to the 20th of December 2020.
Whether you pop into your local KFC or swing by the drive-thru be sure to hurry as specials are limited to the first 100 customers in store (up to 2 items per transaction).
But, if you miss out, order online or via the KFC App as
the deals are available all day (up to 5 items per transaction).
THESIS LIFESTYLE X KFC
Not shy on celebratory spirit, or local collaborations, KFC also went 50/50 with local fashion brand Thesis Lifestyle to create a limited-edition collection of KFC inspired streetwear.
With a finger on the pulse of the street culture and style,
the founder of the Soweto-based brand, Wandile Zondo and his partner Galebowe Mahlatsi,
create streetwear that they hope
will inspire the next generation to define themselves.
The Thesis x KFC Collection includes an exclusive run of bespoke t-shirts,
vests, tote bags and bucket hats. These were designed to reflect what they believe KFC founder, Colonel Sanders, would be proud to see and experience if he were to visit the streets of Mzansi today. “Bringing together the original style of streetwear in Soweto, with the original flavour and flare of KFC, we want this range to tell a story that salutes the South African people of KFC,
from their thousands of employees to their millions of fans,”
said Zondo of Thesis, “Thesis is more than just a brand, it’s a lifestyle, and the same is true about KFC, it is a part of our culture".
The collection will be on sale from the 1st of December and the best part is that 50% of all sales will
be going towards the KFC Add Hope programme,
so fans can go 50/50 with KFC to support more children who need it most
SHOP COLLECTION :
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE
What would a Birthday be without gifts? KFC will also be gifting Thesis x KFC swag items on their social platforms in December with giveaways every day from 21 - 30 December 2020.
In KFC’s 50/50 spirit, winners will each win two prizes
so they can go 50/50 with their loved ones by gifting them too.
Stay tuned to the KFC social media pages to enter.

*Thank you KFCSA for the invite,
parts of the article are from a pr release.
Hey guyzies, hopefully everything is well and okay.
Today's post is a simple one, I recently received a PR package from VICHY and just wanted to
find out more about them since it will be my first time using their products.
I've always seen them but never gravitated towards them, maybe it's because sometimes
at Dishem their products are soo close to the door when you walk-in and the sales assistance
always want to upsell some other product you never even heard off, so I just end up never buying
any of their products.
So today is the day we learn more about their products and what they have in-store for us.
The post is all about their claims and my first initial impressions,
from what I gather there isn't alot of claims, which is great,
because some products have a lot claims and then under-deliver
so let's jump straight into it.

2020 hasn't been great for my feed and blog as the content was on
a downward spiral, but haha Blogtober really challenged me to
wear my big girl boots and just do this blogging/content creation thing and
you know what I missed and I loved it.
So December 2020 is here South Africa is still in Lockdown Level 1 but the
restrictions are not that bad, plus it's summer so the rigidness is gone
making people myself included have a bit more fun with other kids.
2020 has been hella depressing, the amount of opportunities haven't been that great
but we push through because I'm in this blogging business for a long run.
I'm planning to share more content even more on my Instagram and to do that
I've decided to participate on the Capturing December Challenge were one captures
a pic daily and upload it using the word of that day as a guide line, this challenge is supposed to be fun and is meant to be enjoyed.
So if you want to part take in it, you can kindly check out my Instagram.
In addition to Capturing December I'm doing Blogmas because I love Christmas
and anything other than me posting and creating content this December
will put in a depression, so create create create, that is the plan.
Blogmas is 25 days of 25 posts mostly Christmas related and it is also
supposed to be fun no stress here because sharing your traditions is fun and
from what I gather everyone celebrates Christmas different and ooh the food on Christmas Day,
I cannot wait.
So I hope you enjoy the content that I have instore for you
and make sure that you are subscribed to my YouTube Channel because
I'm planning on uploading there also, just not vlogs just regular content.
